Former Taoiseach Brian Cowen to open new Fianna Fail office in Offaly
Former Taoiseach, Brian Cowen will officially open the new Fianna Fail office at Granary Court, Edenderry on Friday week next, July 18 at 5pm..
An open invitation has been sent to the opening by Barry Cowen MEP, Tony McCormack TD, and Councillor Claire Murray.
The team is honoured to welcome the former Taoiseach Brian Cowen, who will perform the official opening ceremony.
Speaking ahead of the event, Barry Cowen MEP said: “North Offaly deserves strong, visible representation, and this new office in Edenderry shows our commitment to delivering that. It will be a base to ensure that local voices are heard at every level.”
Tony McCormack TD added: “Edenderry and North Offaly are growing, dynamic communities that need accessible support and advocacy. This office is about being there for people on the ground and working hard to address local priorities.”

Cllr Claire Murray said: “It’s vital that Edenderry and the wider North Offaly area have dedicated, approachable representation. Our new office will be a welcoming space for everyone who wants to discuss ideas, raise concerns, or seek help.”
All are welcome to attend the opening. Light refreshments will be served.
