Offaly Senior “B” Hurling Championship teams profiled

Clodiagh Gaels and Kilcormac-Killoughey will clash again in 2025

CARRIG-RIVERSTOWN

Manager - Stephen Killeen;

Selectors - Patrick Maher (+skills coach), Mike Larkin, Ger Oakley;

Captain - Patrick Bergin;

Absentees, long term injuries, retirements from last year - - Ross Connaughton (USA) and Dylan Hogan (injured for next two months with an elbow injury);

New players - Willie Gleeson has returned to the club after three years in Meath.

Last year – Lost to Clodiagh Gaels in the semi-final;

Star player – Cathal King;

Prospects – Carrig-Riverstown and Clodiagh Gaels are joint second favourites behind Kilcormac-Killoughey. C-R have turned a major corner in recent years and are a great example of a club working hard and doing things right. They don't play well every day but they have a lot going for them and should be able to make the semi-finals. They have very good title prospects.
