A busy road in Offaly is to close this week for resurfacing works.
Offaly County Council has announced the temporary closure of the R357 Shannonbridge to Cloghan Road on Tuesday, July 15.
The local authority says there will be no traffic permitted except for local access. Traffic diversions will be in place for the duration of the works.
Offaly County Council says these works and dates are subject to the weather being suitable for road surfacing works being carried out.
Offaly County Council says it regrets any inconvenience caused.
