FIANNA Fail will back rural Ireland in Budget 2026 Public Expenditure Minister Jack Chambers has promised.
Speaking at the official opening of the Fianna Fail marquee at Tullamore Show today, Minister Chambers said he looked forward to engaging with the farming community and the farming organisations at the biggest one day event of its kind in Ireland.
He praised the "incredible volunteers" at the party's marquee and all those volunteers involved in ensuring that the Show was a success.

"Agriculture, business and enterprise are the backbone of Ireland and we're seeing the manifestation of that here today," added the Minister.
Local Fianna Fail Deputy Tony McCormack said the Show didn't happen by chance. "It is the result of tireless work, dedication and passion from a remarkable committee who, year after year, go above and beyond the call of duty to bring this event to life."

Also present at the official opening were MEP Barry Cowen and local councillors Ollie Bryant and Declan Harvey as well as retired councillor Danny Owens.
