Autism Awareness Roscrea held their Annual Sensory Fun Day on Sunday last - an annual sensory friendly event, open to everyone and a fantastic day out.

Family Fun Day 2025 took part in the the sacred heart primary school recently. Thank you all for the most amazing day.
Everything from snakes, owls and other small mammals to relaxation, therapy and fun zones were available, with lots of sensory play and the very important 'Chill Out & Quiet' zones.

Creative Ireland and Tipperary County Council provide financial support for the annual event and the incredible difference made to so many families in the area is possible thanks to volunteers who make themselves available for the annual event, as well working in the background throughout the year.

“We are very grateful for all of them for their dedication and commitment”, the organisers said.
“To everyone who helped to make the day possible, magical and warmed many hearts, you are amazing people. We strive and continue on our journey in creating awareness of neurodiversity and to actively promote inclusion,” Marguerite and the Autism Awareness Roscrea team said.
