RIP Killian Guinan
Tributes have poured after a young man from Offaly who passed away at home recently and who has been remembered as a lovely young man.
Killian Guinan, Bloemendaal in the The Netherlands, formerly Ferbane in Offaly, passed away peacefully at his home on August 22nd 2025.
Killian was just 27 when he died and will be deeply missed by his mam and dad, his aunts and uncles, his cousins, the extended Guinan and Bindels families, his many friends and work colleagues in Holland, Ireland, Singapore and Germany.
Killian's family have requested that his memorial service is a private family ceremony.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and loved Killian, with one mourner writing,
"Deepest sympathy to Danny and Tanja and the extended Guinan family on the sad passing of Killian. I had the pleasure of some great chats with him over the past few years when he visited Ferbane. A lovely young man. May Killian rest in peace.

Another message said, "Our sincere condolences to our old neighbours the Guinan’s on the passing of your son Killian. Our words cannot express the sorrow and grief that you have. We can only wish and pray that you find the strength to overcome your loss. May Killian rest in peace Amen."
"Danny and Tanja, there are no words to express how sorry we are for you both on the loss of ye're beloved Killian, he was always a pleasure to meet in Ferbane and you can be so proud of him, we hope ye're wonderful memories of him will help ease the pain. Thinking also of Finola, Mary, Ciaran, Diarmuid, Conor and all the Guinan and Bindels families on the loss of ye're precious nephew /cousin. Rest easy Killian," another person said.
