Robert Mizzell has launched his nationwide tour in Birr

COUNTRY music fans are in for a treat as one of Ireland’s most loved country performers, Robert Mizzell, kicks off his brand-new Nashville Songbook Nationwide Concert Tour on Thursday, September 18th at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre.

Born and raised in Louisiana, USA, Robert grew up immersed in the sounds of authentic American country music. Now living in Ireland for over two decades, he has become a household name on the Irish country scene. Known for his powerful voice and heartfelt performances, Robert is often described as the true authentic country voice, blending Southern roots with Irish spirit.

Joining Robert on this exciting new tour are two rising stars of Irish country music – the Young Guns of Country:

Stacey Breen, a dynamic performer with a voice that has captured audiences nationwide

Kelan Browne, a young talent already making waves with his fresh style and natural stage presence

The Nashville Songbook show takes audiences on a journey through some of the greatest country hits ever written. From classics by legends such as George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Dolly Parton, to modern favourites that define the Nashville sound, the evening will be filled with timeless songs, powerful storytelling, and heartfelt tributes. Fans can expect a mix of foot-stomping tunes, tender ballads, and the kind of authentic country spirit that only Robert Mizzell can deliver.

Speaking ahead of the show, Robert said: "I’m thrilled to be starting this tour in Birr. Country music has always been about connection – songs that speak to the heart – and I can’t wait to share the Nashville Songbook with audiences across Ireland."
