POPULAR Tullamore man, Sean (Seanie) Lalor celebrated his 80th birthday in style with family and friends last Friday.
A party of 40 family members - many of whom travelled from the US for the occasion - joined Sean for a special birthday meal in the Tullamore Court Hotel.
Following the meal the group travelled to the Goalpost public house on William St where a large gathering of Sean's friends, both young and not so young, had assembled for the occasion.
A popular member of the local community, the Thornsberry Estate man was a talented soccer player in his youth and worked in the garage business in Tullamore for many years.
Every best wish is extended to Sean on his landmark birthday.
