The weather forecast for the biggest farming show of the year is not looking great with the rest of the week scheduled for rain.
A status yellow weather warning will be hampering the week’s festivities with 300,000 expected to attend over the three days.
Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes commented: “Wellies and rain jackets at the ready for this year’s Ploughing. A record-breaking year may be on the cards for all the wrong reasons.”
