Mount St Joseph Abbey Roscrea
Last Friday the Trail Blazers had another well attended walk around the Slieve Blooms at the Brittas Lake Loop at Clonaslee. This walk is always a firm favourite among the group.
A perfect night for walking before the forecasted rain arrived. Well done to everyone who made the effort.
Due to unforeseen circumstances our Thursday night walks will now move to Friday nights with an earlier start of 7pm. The walk this Friday night October 3rd sees the club heading back to a walk closer to home, the Mount St Joseph's Prayer Loop.
Always a popular walk and a favourite among the group. Distance 5km, Grade Easy hill walking, Time 1.5 hours. Meeting at The Main Gate Carpark at Mount St Joseph's Abbey at 7pm. Please bring Head/Hand torch.
They would encourage anyone thinking of taking up hiking for better health or as a way to destress to please make contact with the number below.
