'Fly high' - Offaly pub lead tributes to legend and 'loyal' customer after sad death
An Offaly pub has led tributes this week to a "loyal" customer after his sad death at the age of 91.
Tullamore's Old Harbour Bar remembered Sonny Lloyd in a heartfelt social media post, in which they wrote: "We are very sad at the passing of our true friend, legend and loyal customer Mr Sonny Lloyd in his 92nd year.
"He was an inspiration to many and an absolute gentleman whom will be sadly missed by both young and old. Our deepest condolences to the extended Llyod families at this very difficult time. May Sonny rest in eternal heavenly peace. From us all in The Old Harbour Bar, fly high with the angels, our dear friend until we meet again.
