European Day Of Languages
On Friday, September 26th, Coláiste Naomh celebrated the European Day of Languages in the school — a day to recognise and enjoy the incredible diversity of languages spoken across Europe and right in their own school community. To mark the occasion, they began the day with greetings from students in their native languages. They continued their celebration with a Welcome Dash for 1st Year students during which students were tasked with finding Welcome signs in a variety of European languages hidden around the school. Exploration of European languages continued in language classes and were enjoyed by all. "To learn a language is to have one more window from which to look at the world".
