Council warns of oil spill on roads in the Ferbane, Banagher and Lusmagh areas
MOTORISTS in West Offaly have been warned to be on the alert for an oil spill on roads in the Ferbane, Banagher and Lusmagh areas.
A statement from Offaly County Council stated “Please note we are aware of an oil spill between Ferbane and Banagher, around a number of streets in Banagher and from Banagher to Lusmagh.
“The County Council is erecting warning signs, and the roads are being treated.”
Motorists travelling in those areas should exercise extreme caution on roads in the area at this time.
