Planning permission has been sought for the development of a new Training Workshop for Banagher Further Education and Training Centre in County Offaly.
A planning notice was recently published in the Offaly Independent for the site at Main Street, Banagher, Co. Offaly.
The Laois and Offaly Education Board is hoping to obtain planning permission for "the construction of a single-storey Training Workshop containing work spaces, office, ancillary accommodation and all associated site works to complete the development."
A submission or observation in relation to the application can be made in writing to the planning authority for a prescribed fee of €20. This must be within five weeks of the authority first recieving the planning application.

Any submissions or observations on the proposed project must be submitted by November 27, with the final decision on the planning application taking place on December 18, 2025.
