Aggressive young man arrested after running in front of traffic in Offaly
What gardai described as a drunk young man was arrested when he was seen running in front of traffic in Offaly.
The incident happened at midnight, Sunday October 12 on Townsend Street, Birr.
According to gardai, a young male was seen by us running in front of moving vehicles.
“He was very drunk and when we spoke to him he became very aggressive and verbally abusive," a garda spokesperson said.
The young man was arrested under Sections 4 and 6 of the Public Order Act.
