Offaly man fined €750 and disqualified for one year for dangerous driving

A 28-year-old man was convicted of dangerous driving during last week's Tullamore Court sitting.

Before the court was Craig Nolan, 16 Mooney's Terrace, Kilcormac and the offence occurred on Clara Road, Tullamore, on June 10 last.

“This man drove at 106kph in a 50kph zone which, to my mind, makes him a potential menace to the community,” remarked Judge Andrew Cody. He fined Mr Nolan €750 and disqualified him from driving for a year.
