€131,474 to support integration in North Tipperary

Deputy Ryan O’Meara, Fianna Fáil TD for North Tipperary and Northwest Kilkenny, has welcomed the announcement that community projects in North Tipperary will benefit from €131,474 under the 2025 Integration Fund.

On the announcement, Deputy O’Meara said: “Integration is something we must continually work towards, it doesn’t happen on its own.

“By investing in integration, we’re helping local organisations in North Tipperary build communities where everyone feels included, valued, and supported.”

Local projects to benefit from the funding include: €94,874 - Silver Arch Family Resource Centre for their ‘Unity Youth Hub’ €6,600 - Cloughjordan Community FC for their project ‘Together Through Football’; €10,000- Live Art Ireland in partnership with North Tipperary Queer Shed for their Queer Shed Integration Series: Harvest, Heritage, and Healing; €10,000 - The Source Arts Centre for their project ‘Making a Spectacle’; €10,000 - Thurles Islamic Community Centre for the project ‘Integration in Action: A Comprehensive Integration and Inclusion Programme for Migrants and Refugees’.

This funding is part of the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Integration’s 2025 Integration Fund, supporting community organisations across Ireland to promote migrant integration and build inclusive, connected communities.

Deputy O’Meara went on to say: “Communities are leading the way on integration, but they need backing. This Fund provides the support local organisations need to continue this vital work.

The Integration Fund is allocating €3.6 million to 117 organisations nationwide to support community-led integration projects.
