Motorist fined €500 for parking on pathway on street in Tullamore

A motorist was convicted and fined for parking on a pathway in Tullamore during the December 10 sitting of the District Court

A MOTORIST was convicted and fined for parking on a pathway in Tullamore during the December 10 sitting of the District Court.

Gerard Norris, Springfield, Cappincur, Tullamore committed the offence on Main Street, Tullamore on May 17 last.

Garda Jude Doyle told the court that there was a large trailer attached to Mr Norris' vehicle and it was parked in such a way that it made the visibility poor for those trying to pass it out. He had no previous convictions.

Judge Andrew Cody convicted and fined €500.
