Roscrea Heritage Society was delighted to host local talent Tommy McDonald and Jimmy Quinlan for the final Black Mills Session.

The popular duo entertained the audience from start to finish, filling the evening with great songs, lively banter, and plenty of laughs.

The finale truly highlighted that these gatherings have become so much more than music in the stunning Black Mills, they’ve grown into warm social occasions where new friendships blossom and old friends reconnect.

The historic Black Mills, which boasts unrivalled acoustic properties, created the perfect setting for musical performances.

The Society would like to thank the OPW for providing the venue, and Bernadette, Eileen, Caoimhe, and Saoirse for their help throughout the year. Thanks also to PJ Wright for capturing fantastic shots of the sessions.

Last but not least, the Society would like to thank all who attended and performed throughout the year, your support is greatly appreciated.

While the Society is now taking a break from organising events, rest assured that planning will continue in the background to bring it all back in 2026. Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir!
