MONEYGALL Development Association is delighted to announce the official signing of a construction contract with Build More Joint Ventures (JV) for the development of a brand new, state-of-the-art community centre in Moneygall.

Construction is scheduled to commence in January, marking a major milestone in the ongoing enhancement and community development of the area.
The new community centre will feature a vibrant, flexible space designed to host community gatherings, meetings, cultural events, and sporting activities well into the future, along with a modern kitchen, dressing rooms, external toilet facilities, dedicated car parking and e-car charging points.
This landmark project is being delivered with the support of the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht - Community Centre Investment Fund – New Build, Offaly County Council and local funds.
Moneygall was selected as one of twelve locations for new community centres to be constructed under this national initiative, representing a substantial investment in the village’s long-term social and recreational infrastructure.
Moneygall Development Association acknowledges that the awarding of this significant funding allocation would not have been possible without the invaluable support of Offaly County Council, and particularly the Regeneration Team, who have provided guidance and hands-on assistance from the initial application stage right through to the present contract-signing phase. Their continued support throughout construction is greatly appreciated.

I look forward to the many benefits this community centre will deliver for the community and surrounding hinterland in the future.”

Following a full procurement process, Build More Joint Ventures has been appointed as the main contractor. The company brings extensive experience in the construction sector and a strong track record of delivering high-quality community and public-use facilities.
Ger McIntyre of Build More and John O' Loughlin EHS Engineering Contractors both welcomed the signing and reaffirmed the joint ventures commitment to delivering a high-quality facility for Moneygall.
