One person has tragically died following a three car collision in the Midlands this evening.
The accident occurred at around 7pm near Edgeworthstown in Longford.
A number of people were treated at the scene and have since been taken to hospital.
Emergency services are still on site and any motorists with dash cam footage are asked to contact Longford Gardaí on 043 3350570.
