Members of the Roscrea Trail Blazers Club
Happy New Year to everyone who supported Roscrea Trail Blazers during 2025 and they hope to see more of you during 2026.
They have had a very busy 2025 with trips to Madeira, the UK and numerous hikes around Ireland and 2026 is shaping up to be every bit as busy with trips to Austria, Snowdon, island trips, charity walks and numerous challenge walks to be completed.
On last Friday January 9th they had their first walk for 2026 with a walk around the Kinnitty Castle Loop.
They had a great turnout for the walk with some new members joining them on the night. Well done to everyone that made the effort.
Their walk this Friday night January 16th sees the club heading to the Brittas Lake Loop in the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Distance: 6.5 km, Grade: Moderate, Time: 1.5 hours. Meeting at the Brittas Lake Trailhead, Clonaslee at 7pm. Please bring head/hand torch.
