Tipperary County Council has proposed installing a one way traffic system on Ayr Hill in Roscrea.

Local people can express their opinion about the plans by contacting the details below.

The works will include associated line marking, signage, and drainage improvements. Additionally, the development will incorporate a bio-retention system featuring a kerb build-out.

Drawings of the proposed works are available for inspection from Wednesday 14th January 2026 to Friday 13th February on the Council's website and at Thurles Municipal District Office, Castle Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. E41KA44.

Documents may be inspected during normal office hours, 9:30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays).

Submissions regarding the proposal, clearly marked “Ayr Hill one-way system”, can be made by e-mail to section38thurlesmd@tipperarycoco.ie or by post addressed to: Senior Executive Engineer, Thurles Municipal District, Castle Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Closing date for receipt of submissions is 4:30pm on Friday, 13th February, 2026.
