Two local past students from Cistercian College Roscrea who earned outstanding results in their Leaving Certificate exams have been recognised by Trinity College Dublin.
Each year Trinity College present Entrance Exhibition Awards to first year undergraduate students in recognition of outstanding performances in their Leaving certificate examinations in 2025 and two students from the prestigious Roscrea school have been chosen.
This year two past students from Cistercian College Roscrea were among those receiving awards - Charlie Loughnane from Birr and Liam Hayes from Terryglass, who were both recognised for their remarkable leaving certificate results in 2025.
Charlie is studying Business, Economics and Social Studies (BESS) and Liam is studying Computer Science.
"We wish both of them every success in their studies," College Principal Catherine Smyth said.
"Congratulations to Charlie and Liam on being honoured with such a prestigious award."
