Tipperary Gardaí launching the 2026 awards at the Rock of Cashel this week

Tipperary Gardaí have launched the Tipperary Garda Youth Awards 2026, with nominations now open to recognise exceptional young people across the Premier county.
The Garda Youth Awards celebrate young people aged between 13 and 21 years who are making a meaningful and positive contribution to their communities.
Nominations are invited across four categories:
• Individual Award – Making a positive contribution to their community, making it a better place to live.
• Group Award – Group of two or more young people making a positive contribution to the community, making it a better place to live.

• Special Achievement Award – Overcome difficult circumstances, defied the odds and whose commitment deserves recognition.
• Community Safety Award – Through a crime prevention or safety initiative/innovation, have made their community a safer place to live.
Nomination forms are now available on the Garda website at www.garda.ie
The closing date for receipt of nominations is Friday, 27th March 2026.
