The road works are set to take place across two different roads in Tullamore across March 19 & 20

Delays expected as two prominent roads in Offaly set to undergo surface works in coming days

Positive traffic control (stop & go) will be in place on the busy roads for the duration of the works

Offaly County Council have announced that two busy roads in Tullamore are set to undergo surface works over the coming days. 

Resurfacing works will be carried out on R443 Collins Lane at Droim Liath Roundabout in Tullamore on Thursday March 19.

Elsewhere, There will be surface repair works happening on the N52 at Tullamore Kitchen & Furniture Centre on Friday March 20.

Positive Traffic Control (Stop & Go) will be put in place on each road for the duration of the works which are expected to be finished by the conclusion of their scheduled dates. 

Road users are being warned to expect delays locally throughout the period of the works being carried out. 

A spokesperson for Offaly County Council say they regret any inconvenience that will be caused for road users as a result of the two instances of surface works.
