FAMILIES looking for a truly special day out this Easter can hop aboard the Birr Castle Easter Express, a magical seasonal train experience running from April 2nd–6th, running seven times each day at Birr Castle Demesne.

This enchanting Easter train journey takes visitors on a scenic ride through the stunning castle gardens, where little explorers can take part in a fun Easter Challenge along the way. Following the clues throughout the journey, children will complete their adventure with a visit from the Easter Bunny at the end of the trail. Each child ticket includes a trail activity, pencil and a delicious Chocolate Easter Egg, making the experience a memorable treat for young visitors.

The Easter Express experience also includes full General Admission to Birr Castle Demesne, allowing families to spend the rest of the day exploring the historic grounds, enjoying the fresh spring air, colourful seasonal blooms, and beautiful walking trails and connecting with nature.

Alongside the train experience, families visiting the demesne between March 28th and April 12th can also enjoy the Easter Bunny Treasure Trail, included with general admission. Due to high demand, Easter Express train tickets must be prebooked in advance to avoid disappointment.
