Pupils, staff and parents launch the sponsored walk at St Joseph's NS
ORGANISERS are delighted to announce the inaugural Sponsored Family Fun Walk for St Joseph's National School, Arden View, Tullamore taking place on this Sunday, April 26 at 11.00 a.m.
This exciting new event is organised by the Parents Association in partnership with the school, and we hope it will become a much-loved annual tradition in our school community.
This year, every step they take has a very special purpose.
All funds raised from the walk will go directly towards the refurbishment of the Special Class playground. This space is an essential part of our school, providing a safe, engaging and supportive environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

A refreshed playground will:
Provide inclusive and accessible play equipment
Create a stimulating sensory-friendly environment
Encourage social interaction and physical activity
Support the wellbeing and development of our pupils
Organisers' goal is to transform this space into an area that truly meets the needs of the children who use it every day.
This walk is more than just a fundraiser — it’s an opportunity to come together as a school community. Families, friends, staff and supporters are all invited to get involved, show their support and help us make a meaningful difference.
As this is our first ever Sponsored Walk, we are especially excited to build something that can grow year after year — strengthening community spirit while supporting important school projects.
