Ray Larkin protesting outside the Russian Embassy
AN Offaly mental health campaigner was among many Irish people who joined Ukrainians living here in a protest at the Russian Embassy last weekend.
Rahan's Ray Larkin said he was incensed by the Russian invasion of their neighbours Ukraine in the early hours of Thursday morning last.
Ray proudly held Offaly and Ukraine flags aloft as he took part in the protest, one of many held across the globe.
As our photograph shows the entrance to the embassy was splattered with red paint to portray the bloodshed which has been unleashed in the invasion.
