Pupils of Scoil Bhride with their teacher Ms Clodagh Burke at Tullamore garda station
PUPILS at Scoil Bhride in Tullamore had an issue with a naughty elf in their classroom who had opened one of the boys' presents waiting under the tree for the school's Christmas party last Friday.
After attempting to send him off in the post box in town last week the pupils and their teacher Clodagh Burke were horrified to see their naughty elf ‘Elfie’ waiting outside the window for them the following day.
But Garda Paul Linnane came to the rescue and said the pupils could drop their naughty elf into the station and he would lock him up.
The pupils and Ms Burke paid a visit to the Tullamore Garda Station and Garda Paul locked ‘Elfie’ up and said he wouldn't be a cause of worry any more.
Ms Burke told the Tribune: “All the boys from Amity, Scoil Bhride BNS had a brilliant time and would like to thank Garda Paul and Michelle Mc Dermott for all their help keeping them safe and putting manners on their naughty elf ‘Elfie’.”
