Leading retailer recalls hairstyling products over risk of electric shocks FILE PIC

TK Maxx and Homesense have recalled hairstyling products due to the risk of possible electric shocks.

The risk associated with the product is that of electric shock. The breakdown isolation did not meet the insulation requirements of the safety standard. The brands are Elgetec and Elehot. The model is KR-D03B.

The affected product was available for purchase from February 2022 to May 2022.

The number of affected products in the Republic of Ireland have not been confirmed. Given the availability of this product, it may have been sold to customers in the Republic of Ireland.

Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.
