'Finally something juicy' - Twists and turns as two contestants booted from The Traitors Ireland

Viewers were left stunned by a dramatic episode which saw two contestants leave the castle, while a huge secret was also revealed
There were twists, shocks and plenty of suspicion on The Traitors Ireland last night as the second series continued to keep viewers guessing.
The latest episode saw two contestants leave the game, while one of the biggest secrets in the castle was finally revealed.
The drama began when Edelle, a 44-year-old Software Operations Lead from Donegal, was recruited to become the fourth Traitor. She was then given the unenviable task of choosing the first Faithful to be murdered.
Edelle selected Emma, a 42-year-old vocal coach from Dublin, who was subsequently revealed to have been murdered when the contestants gathered for breakfast.
Emma's departure came just days into the new series, with the remaining Faithful immediately turning their attention to working out who could be hiding among them. But there was another major surprise waiting for viewers.
During a challenge, Cork contestants Diego and Denis emerged victorious and secured immunity.
The pair later revealed privately that they were not simply fellow contestants — they are actually married and have been for 11 years.
The secret had been successfully kept from the other contestants, leaving viewers at home stunned when the pair revealed the truth.
Viewers were quick to take to social media with their reactions with @swiftlorelai saying, “finally something juicy need one the husbands to be recruited immediately”.
But the shocks didn't end there, and at the first Round Table, the Faithful turned their attention to those they believed could be working against them.
Edelle found herself under suspicion, despite having only just been recruited as a Traitor.
She was ultimately banished from the castle after receiving eight votes, making her the first contestant to be banished at a Round Table this series.
Her exit was particularly brutal given that she had only just joined the Traitors and had not even had the chance to properly meet the other members of the secret group.
Following the episode, Edelle took to social media to poke fun at her early exit.
She joked that apparently drinking “copious amounts of water” had been suspicious behaviour, adding: “In my defence... I was thirsty.”
She thanked viewers who had supported her, suspected her and “shouted at the TV” about her performance.
The episode certainly appears to have got viewers talking, with fans praising the twists and already speculating about who could be next to face the Round Table.
And with the remaining contestants now aware that nobody can be trusted, the pressure inside Slane Castle is only set to increase.
The Traitors Ireland continues on RTÉ One tonight at 9.35pm, with another murder now looming over the remaining Faithful.
