A self-proclaimed psychic who claims he predicted Covid-19 has shared his 2026 predictions, which include the UK experiencing its hottest summer on record, Wales winning the Six Nations, and Reform UK growing in “support”.
Nicolas Aujula, 39, a hypnotherapist who lives in west London, said he realised he had psychic abilities at the age of 17 after experiencing visions of his “past lives”, including being an Egyptian queen, a nun in the Himalayas and a seamstress in China.
Since then, he claims to have accurately foreseen events such as Covid-19, the Black Lives Matter movement, Donald Trump winning the US election, the rise of artificial intelligence, and the separation of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.
Looking ahead to 2026, he predicts an increase in earthquake and volcanic activity across Turkey, Greece, the Pacific and Asia, as well as a “dangerous storm event” and tighter global travel restrictions.
In the entertainment world, he foresees Hollywood being “hit with lots of defamation cases”, the introduction of AI-generated films, and Angelina Jolie making a major comeback.
He also predicts President Donald Trump’s “downfall” and a public scandal involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Nicolas told PA Real Life: “As a teenager I entered a deep trance state and began to see vivid flashes – images of myself as an Egyptian queen, a nun in the Himalayas, a seamstress in China, a witch doctor in Africa, even a lion.
“In that moment, I had an overwhelming sense that I had lived many lives before and gathered countless experiences.
“That experience led to a deep realisation – that death is not the end, that there is nothing to fear, and that our souls are eternal, returning in different forms to continue learning and experiencing life.
“It was surreal, peaceful, and utterly life-changing.”
Nicolas said he realised he had psychic abilities at the age of 17, after experiencing visions of his “past lives”.
He said “within days” of this he left college, where he had been studying for his A-levels, and began pursuing a career in hypnotherapy and “past-life regression”, with the aim of helping others explore and understand their own past-life experiences.
Since then, he claims to have received predictions about future events through dreams, symbols and his “inner voice”.
“My visions aren’t something I can control,” Nicolas explained.
“Often, they’re symbolic rather than literal, which means they require interpretation to uncover their deeper meaning.
“Sometimes the message isn’t immediately clear, and there’s always the possibility of misinterpretation.”
Nicolas said he has previously foreseen major global events, including Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement.
Looking back on 2024, he says he anticipated Donald Trump winning the US election and a rise in artificial intelligence, which have both materialised.
When his visions align with real-world events, he said he finds it “very validating”.
He also said that in 2025, Katy Perry would face relationship “problems”, adding that it has since been reported she has split from long-term partner Orlando Bloom.
He added: “I predicted major wins for women in sports and increased recognition – the women’s Euros was a major football championship that took place and drew huge crowds and media attention, reinforcing visibility and investment in women’s sport.
“I predicted UK political upheaval and I think in 2025 the UK saw significant Westminster political drama, leadership speculation, criticism of government performance, and polling stagnation.”
However, he also predicted that Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer would step down by the end of 2025 and “be replaced by a woman”.
Explaining how he feels when his visions do not come true, he said: “Because time is a human-made concept, I believe some things I perceive may unfold far into the future.
“We also have free will, so while we may glimpse potential outcomes, our choices and actions can always change the result.”
Looking ahead to 2026, Nicolas believes there will be an increase in earthquake and volcanic activity, particularly in Turkey, Greece, the Pacific and Asia.
He said this vision came to him when he felt “the earth was moving beneath him” and he saw a world map with red hot spots flashing brightly across those regions.
He envisages the UK experiencing its hottest summer ever in 2026, bringing extreme heatwaves and nationwide water rationing.
He explained: “I felt lethargic like I was in an oven and could see a hazy orange sun.”
However, he also described a vision of “electric sparks flying and it going dark”, leading him to believe there could be a “dangerous storm event” that may impact “power grids”.
In terms of global travel, he anticipates increased travel bans and restrictions, with countries becoming stricter on border control.
He added: “I could see people trying to move forward in the queue but were pushed back, it was sad to see”.
Within the entertainment industry, Nicolas foresees Hollywood being “hit with lots of defamation cases”, after seeing a vision of “the word defamation” appearing near the Hollywood sign.
In addition to this, he believes AI-generated films and television programmes will begin to be produced.
He described a vision of Angelina Jolie “emerging onto stage with a glowing light”, leading him to believe she will make a major comeback, either through a film role or by speaking on an “important global issue”.
Nicolas also believes Beyonce will “experience new beginnings” and enjoy “more solitude”, saying that in his vision he saw her wanting to hide and retreat from people “and lights”.
In sport, he anticipates that Wales will beat Ireland in the 2026 Six Nations Rugby final, after he claims to have seen a major match between a red and green team, with red being victorious.
He also forewarns of a “mysterious illness” causing symptoms similar to an aneurism, alongside “youth-led” protests and revelations involving “aliens and UFO contact”.
Politically, he predicts the rise of “brutal government regimes” worldwide, while in the UK he believes Reform UK will “grow in strength and support”, after seeing a vision of Nigel Farage surrounded by cheering crowds.
As well as this, he said he saw President Donald Trump falling while disembarking from a plane, which he believes could either be literal or symbolise his “downfall”.
Nicolas believes there will be a leak from a former member of staff involving Harry and Meghan, which could spark a public scandal.
He added: “I saw an image of an angry Meghan who felt betrayed, I could sense it was someone close to her.”
Addressing sceptics, he said: “I believe we’re all psychic and I don’t see it as something rare or special.
“Moments like thinking of someone just before they call, or meeting someone and immediately sensing discomfort, are everyday examples of intuitive awareness.
“When the mind is calm and peaceful, it’s much easier to tune into this sensitivity.
“Scepticism is healthy – I encourage openness and self-reflection and your own inner voice can be a powerful guide.
“I don’t impose my beliefs on others, and I expect the same courtesy.”
