Skincare expert makes billionaires who spend £60k+ look radiant at their weddings making everything from their faces to intimate areas glow

A skincare specialist who makes billionaires’ complexions radiant before their weddings has revealed how her clients can spend upwards of £60K making everything from their faces to their intimate areas glow before their big day.

While Abi Oleck-Hewett, 49, keeps her customers’ names strictly confidential, she has given a tantalising peak into the “must have” treatments ordered by the mega rich for special occasions.

Working in the beauty business for two decades, Abi, who splits her time between homes in Putney, south west London, and Surrey, said: “Everything you can do on the face you can do anywhere else on the body. I do bum facials, back facials, vaginal facials.

“My clients might want a chemical peel of their private area to make it light and bright, deal with ingrown hairs, or discolouration of skin.”

She added: “It’s a complete intimate make-over.”

Regularly providing a service for celebrities and the super wealthy, Abi started out by giving spray tans, only launching her beauty business originally as a sideline in 2017.

But when the Covid lockdowns struck in 2020, she closed her premises and began to reassess her life – relaunching as a mobile business and also volunteering at the height of the pandemic for the NHS.

Now, with an exclusive client list, she visits her customers in their own homes, abroad or in hotels, which she drives to in her 13-year-old Fiat car.

She laughed: “It’s funny really, as £30,000 worth of equipment comes out of the back of my £800 car!”

Her wedding package, which has attracted several billionaire brides, is started around six months before the big day and can involve three times weekly appointments with the bride-to-be, mother-of-the-bride and even siblings over this period.

In consultation with a team of doctors and specialists in different areas, Abi then creates a bespoke package to meet each client’s every need.

While most brides find it a treat to spend a few hours with a professional make up artist on the morning of their wedding, Abi’s comprehensive offering includes months of everything from specially formulated drinks, B12 injections, massages and nutrition through to IV drips which hydrate – and Abi says can “work as a hangover cure” – and all have been designed specifically for the client.

She said: “When you are preparing for a VIP wedding, the initial preparation starts many months before the big day.

“Six months before the wedding, we will be working on advanced skin treatments such as radiofrequency with micro-needling to remodel the skin. We will then introduce chemical peels to resurface the skin.

“When we start to get to the countdown, it starts to get super exciting, as this is when we must take over the inner cleansing of the skin. This will include probiotics for the gut, nutrients and supplements, drinks and products that are specifically for the face.

“Not only do we work on the skin of the face, but also the skin for the whole body.”

In the last year alone, Abi’s job has seen her travel the world, eat in the best restaurants and attend some very glitzy weddings.

But her devotion to her business means her own love life has taken a hit.

She said: “I was one of the first people to introduce spray tanning to the UK.

“I became a spray tanner to the stars. I worked on Dancing on Ice, with celebs like Duncan James and even Lady Gaga.”

“Through the years, I’ve dated all sorts of men from the prince to the pauper. But, invariably, they can’t handle my success.

“I pick up the bill for holidays, dates. There comes a point where men get jealous and aren’t supportive.

“They want my attention, but that’s all on my billionaire clients these days. I’m not coming home at 6pm to put someone’s dinner in the oven.”

While she is happy living alone with her deaf rescue cat Thug, 13, Abi would like to find her soul mate.

She said: “There is nothing I’d like more in the world than to meet someone and create a truly equal partnership.”

But, while she waits for her ideal man to come along, she is busy devoting 16 hour days to her clients.

She explained: “When I am on a job there is nothing I wouldn’t do to make sure everything is perfect.

“I have a photographic memory and am sure to note everything from the client’s preferred water temperature to how their skin reacts to products.”

She added: “During a wedding, I am on 24 hour call for days on end. Maybe I’ll get a call to put aloe vera gel on the bride’s back because she’s caught the sun.

“I am absolutely devoted to my clients.”

And, for Abi, that means meeting all her monied clients’ needs – including genital skincare when required.

She says: “It’s just like any other part of the skin that you want to look its best.”

“Some clients will go for weeks without having any sexual contact while we conduct their treatment. That way, when they get back to it, they’re all fresh.”

While Abi acknowledges that most people do not have tens of thousands of pounds to spend on their skin, she warns against attempting procedures like chemical peels at home.

She said: “The general consumer needs re-educating.

“Do not start doing chemical peels at home if you don’t know what the various acids do. Don’t buy a bit of skincare kit and just start using it.”

“Make sure any professionals you see are properly accredited. Don’t use someone who has done a four-week fast track course and a day’s training.

“Be sure whoever you see knows their stuff.

“If you’ve only got £10 to spend then buy the best quality hyaluronic acid you can find.

“It’s naturally occurring in our bodies and will hydrate your skin.

“Top it off with a bit of facial oil and you’ve got great beginnings.”
