Rescuers have been searching for a man who fell into the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye.
Emergency services went to the scene near Carbost when the alarm was raised at around 3pm on Thursday.
The Fairy Pools are a series of waterfalls and pools on the River Brittle at the foot of the Black Cuillins and are a popular tourist attraction.
The road is closed at the junction of Carbost/Glenbrittle and the car park for the Fairy Pools is also shut while searches take place on Friday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 3pm on Thursday, we received a report of a man falling into the water at the Fairy Pools near Carbost, on Skye.
“Emergency services are in attendance and searches are ongoing to trace him. There is currently no public access to the area.”
