The family of a 29-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash at the weekend have paid tribute to their “beautiful, kind-hearted daughter”.
Candice Adam, from Dalry, North Ayrshire, was with three other bikers when the crash happened in Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute, at around 2.45pm on Sunday.
She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the A83 at the Kilmory Roundabout.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, her family said: “We are devastated and heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful, kind-hearted daughter Candice.
“She was such a unique and special girl.”
Ms Adam was riding a white Ducati motorcycle at the time of the crash.
The road was closed for around seven hours for a crash investigation.
Police said on Tuesday inquiries remain ongoing.
