Police searching for a missing teenager who was last seen in the Melrose area on Sunday afternoon say that a body has been found.
The discovery was made on Monday in the Eildon Hills, where it is believed Kamile Gimbutyte, also known as Rhian, had been planning on going hillwalking.
Formal identification of the body is yet to take place, but police say the family of the missing 18-year-old has been informed.
Police say there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
