A 80-year old man has died in a car crash in Angus.
Police Scotland said officers were called to the single car crash in Church Road, Aberlemno, near Forfar at around 2.55pm on Tuesday.
The local man, the only person in the blue Subaru XV, was found dead at the scene.
Sergeant David Farr said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has any information that may assist our investigation to contact us.”
Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference number 2220 of Tuesday September 17.
