A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with alleged drugs offences after police seized cannabis with an estimated street value of £15,000 from a property in Aberdeenshire.
Officers acting under warrant found the class B drug at an address in the Bleachfield Street area of Huntly at about 3pm on Monday.
The man was arrested and has been released on an undertaking, and police said a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The 23-year-old is due to appear in court in due course.
Constable Robyn McKay said: “Recoveries such as this highlight our determination to protect the public from this type of harmful criminality and make communities safer.
“Information from the public is absolutely crucial to our work and we would continue to urge anyone with knowledge or concerns about drugs activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
