A 39-year old man has died following a crash on the Isle of Skye.
Police were called to the incident on the A87 near Breakish, which involved a blue Volkswagen Golf, at around 9.50pm on Monday.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to Broadford Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Police closed the road for eight hours to allow inquiries to be carried out.
We are appealing for information following a fatal crash on the A87 near Breakish on Skye.

Sergeant Christopher Donaldson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this difficult time.
“Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the crash to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who saw the car prior to the crash or who has dashcam footage which may assist to get in touch.”
