Two men have been arrested and charged after police seized drugs worth more than £700,000.
Officers searched a property in Old Manse Road, Mount Vernon, Glasgow at around 4.30pm on Friday and found heroin with a potential street value of £660,000 and cannabis worth around £117,000.
Two men, aged 27 and 33, were arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.
The pair are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court in due course.
Police Scotland Detective Superintendent Sarah Taylor said: “This is a significant seizure which sends a clear message that we won’t tolerate illegal drugs in our communities.”
She added: “Information from the public is crucial to our work and we would continue to urge anyone with knowledge or concerns about drugs activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101.
“You can also speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
