A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a man who was found injured in a North Lanarkshire street.
Jamie Lucas, 33, was found severely hurt at about 2.45am on Sunday in Stirling Street, Airdrie.
Mr Lucas was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
The 21-year-old was arrested and is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court in due course.

“I’d like to thank members of the local community for their support during our investigations.
