Passengers left covered in glass after stone thrown at moving train

Police are appealing for witnesses after a stone was thrown at the window of a moving train in the south of Glasgow.

Several passengers were covered in broken glass during the incident at around 6pm on Friday December 27.

The train was travelling between Barrhead and Priesthill & Darnley stations at the time.

British Transport Police are investigating and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40, with reference number 411 of December 27.
