A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged over alleged threatening messages sent to a Scottish airport.
Flights were disrupted at Kirkwall Airport on Orkney on Saturday after officers were alerted at around 10.50am.
The airport, which is ultimately owned by the Scottish Government, was forced to ground planes before resuming flights in the afternoon.
At the time, Police Scotland said there was “no evidence to suggest the threat was credible”.
On Sunday morning, the force announced that a man has been charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
