Emergency services present at scene of rural road crash

Emergency services were present at the scene of a road traffic collision on a rural road in Argyll and Bute this afternoon.

Police said they were alerted at about 4pm to reports of a crash involving a car and a building on the B842 at Stewarton, near Campbeltown, Kintyre.

Emergency services were present and drivers were advised to avoid the area.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said:  “We can confirm that we are in attendance with two appliances present.

“We received the call at 15.57pm.”

The Scottish Ambulance Service was contacted for comment.
