A section of the M90 is closed because of an ongoing fire at a recycling centre.
The Friarton Bridge on the M90, Perth, has been closed while crews continue to tackle the blaze in Lower Friarton Road in Perth.
The public has been advised to avoid the area if possible because of the smoke, and nearby residents have been urged to keep their windows closed.
We are in attendance at a fire within a recycling centre on Lower Friarton Road, Perth.
Due to large volumes of smoke we are asking people to avoid the area and close windows and doors in nearby homes.
The Friarton Bridge on the M90 is also closed.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We are in attendance at a fire within a recycling centre on Lower Friarton Road, Perth.
“Due to large volumes of smoke we are asking people to avoid the area and close windows and doors in nearby homes.
“The Friarton Bridge on the M90 is also closed. Thank you for your support.”
Perth and Kinross Council and Police Scotland were contacted for comment.
