A 74-year-old cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car.
Police received a report of a collision involving a blue Fiat 500 and a male cyclist on Polnoon Street in Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire, at around 10am on Thursday.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
The driver of the Fiat 500 was uninjured.
The road was temporarily closed to allow crash investigators to conduct inquiries.
Sergeant Chris McColm, of Glasgow road policing, said: “As our inquiries continue, I would appeal to anyone who has not yet spoken to us to get in touch.
“I would also ask people with any recorded footage to review it and pass it on to us to assess its relevance.
“Any small piece of information could help us confirm the full circumstances of what has happened.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0830 of Thursday January 16.
