An 18-year-old man has been found dead in a Stirling University student accommodation building.
Police were called to the Alexander Court area of Bridge of Allan at about 2.20pm on Friday after reports of a sudden death.
The death is being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.20pm on Friday, February 7 2025, officers were called to the Alexander Court area of Bridge of Allan following the sudden death of an 18-year-old man.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
A University of Stirling spokesperson said: “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with family and friends at this difficult time.
“The University is liaising with the police and ensuring that students and staff are fully supported.”
