A major search is continuing to find an elderly man who disappeared while sailing his boat.
Alistair Turnbull, 72, from Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway, was last seen at around 1pm on Tuesday in the Fleet of Bay area.
His vessel was later traced in the Wigtown Bay area.
A multi-agency search is continuing including Police Scotland, the Coastguard, the Mountain Rescue Team, drones and air support units.
They are searching the coastline of the Garlieston Bay and Wigtown Bay areas.
Superintendent Alison Wilson said: “Extensive inquiries are continuing and teams have been deployed across various areas in efforts to trace Alistair.
“We would also ask members of the public to report any information which may assist our inquiries to come forward.
“Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3501 of May 13.”
