Air ambulance called following motorbike and campervan crash near Stranraer

An air ambulance is in attendance at the scene of a crash involving a motorbike and a campervan on the A77 in Dumfries and Galloway.

Police said they were alerted to the crash near Innermessan at about 4.35pm on Monday.

They said emergency services, including an air ambulance, are in attendance.

Officers said the A77 Cairnryan to Stranraer road is closed from the A751 junction to the A77 junction at McMaster’s Road.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
